英语数字表达法（难点语法）

数词是英语中重大语法之一，数字在各种考试中，强调hundred, thousand ,million百万, billion10亿, dozen等数词的用法，特别是它们的后面要不要加s。最后有6个思考题，认真完成。如果会做这几题，就没有必要看这篇文章了。

一，Hundred等词后面不加s，左边必须有具体数字（除0之外）

1.five hundred students 五百个学生

2.four million people 四百万人口

3.three billion people 三十亿人

4.three dozen eggs 三十六个鸡蛋

5.several thousand people 好几千人

二，Hundred等词后面加s，要紧靠of

1.hundreds of students 几百个学生

2.millions of people 几百万人口

3.billions of people 几十亿人

4.dozens of eggs 几打鸡蛋

三，长数字的表达方法

英语中的长数字与汉语不一样，一般从最右到左数起，三个数字打一个逗号。第一个逗号，用thousand 千。第二个逗号，用million 百万。第三个逗号，用billion 10亿。

1. 表达15172456

数逗号成这样 15,172,456

fifteen million, one hundred and seventy-two thousand, four hundred and fifty-six

2. 表达3548678530

数逗号成这样 3,548,678,530

3 billion, 548 million, 678 thousand, five hundred and thirty.
